GPs find it important that you get reliable information on the internet, without advertisements. That is why general practitioners have put together Thuisarts.nl for you. So that you can find information before, during and after your visit to the doctor.

Thuisarts.nl answers questions about diseases and health. You will find reliable information in understandable language. You will receive answers to questions such as; What causes it? Can it do any harm? What can I do about it myself? How is it treated? When should I contact the doctor? What will happen next? Sometimes you want to read the explanations and advice at home after a visit to your doctor. Or you are simply looking for more information on a subject, perhaps because someone close to you has become ill. In all these situations , Thuisarts.nl will answer your questions.

Thuisarts.nl is an initiative of the Dutch College of General Practitioners (NHG) and is being developed in collaboration with Dutch general practitioners.
