Client council

Huisartsenspoedposten Amsterdam (HpA), Regionale Organisatie Huisartsen Amsterdam (ROHA) and Huisarts+Punt have a joint client council. The Client Council (CR) is an independent advisory body that focuses on the interests of patients and their loved ones who make use of the care provided by HpA, ROHA and Huisarts+Punt. Patient safety, quality and accessibility of care are important pillars for the CR. 

According to the Participation of Clients in Healthcare Institutions Act (Wmcz 2018), the CR is authorised to provide solicited and unsolicited advice or consent to the intended policy of the organisations. In order to be able to do this carefully, he is well informed by the organizations and also actively looks for relevant information himself.

For the CR, the patient is central. The Council therefore always asks the organisations what policy means for patients in practice.

The CR consists of a maximum of seven members and is supported by an independent official secretary. The CR is regularly looking for new members.
