Desk clerk for the night posts
For this position we are looking for 2nd year medical students or doctor’s assistants, with the possibility to grow into (prospective) junior triagist.
Who are we?
Huisartsenposten Amsterdam is a dynamic organization that is responsible for high-quality GP care in the evenings, at night and on weekends. To this end, five GP posts have been set up and a central telephone triage post. A central office supports HpA. We are an ambitious healthcare institution with more than 500 general practitioners. They are assisted by more than 150 doctor’s assistants, triage nurses, triage nurses in training, student/triage nurses and desk staff.
Who are we looking for?
HpA is looking for enthusiastic medical students who want to work at night in a fun and educational part-time job in addition to their studies. That is why we are looking for you! We invite second- and third-year medical students to apply. After an induction program including training, you will work independently at one of the night posts in the city. Doctor’s assistants are also welcome to apply.e battle at one of the night posts in the city.
What do you do as a desk clerk?
As a desk clerk you receive patients at the counter, register the patient, perform hand and span services, keep an overview of the waiting room, in short, you are part of the dynamic night team with general practitioners, triage nurses and drivers. This allows the patient to be provided with the necessary (medical) care as quickly and adequately as possible.
Combination with other study obligations
We offer you a contract for 4 hours per week, which means that with two night shifts per month (Monday to Sunday) you already meet your contract obligations. You can always work more. A night shift starts at 11:00 pm and ends at 8:00 am. This allows you to combine your work with your study obligations. Ideal!
Your profile and our offer
- You are a second- or early third-year medical student or you are a doctor’s assistant
- After your bachelor’s degree, you have the opportunity to grow into a (prospective) junior triagist.
- Salary and employment conditions in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for General Practitioner Care, scale 3 (excluding irregularity allowance (ORT);
- Customer-oriented, stress-resistant, responsible and accurate.
- You can attend on Sunday 31 October for the introduction and your first training.
