The right care for your acute complaint
At the new Emergency Station Amsterdam-Noord you will be welcomed by a triagist. A triage nurse is medically trained to determine the right help that is appropriate for the severity of your complaint.

Is a GP needed? Then the triage nurse will discuss your situation with the GP at the emergency station. It depends on your complaint whether the GP wants to see you right away or whether an appointment will be made for you at a later time. If it turns out that you need specialist medical help, you will be seen by an emergency room doctor or a medical specialist.

With this new emergency station, we will ensure that you are helped in the event of acute complaints by the healthcare professional who suits your complaints.
