We offer emergency care to patients who are registered with a general practitioner in the Amsterdam, Badhoevedorp, Lijnden, Diemen, Duivendrecht and Landsmeer region. Patients who are not registered, but are in this region and need emergency care, can also contact us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is emergency?<\/strong>
Urgent complaints are complaints that cannot wait until the next working day from your own GP. For example, increasing shortness of breath, paralysis symptoms, severe pain, a seriously ill child or an accident in the house. Or if you are so worried that you need medical advice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You call and then?<\/strong>
You will have a well-trained and experienced triage nurse on the line. Preferably, the patient calls himself. Are you calling for someone else? Then make sure you have all patient data at hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Depending on your situation:
\u2022 You will receive medical advice by telephone
\u2022 You will get an appointment at the General Practitioner
\u2022 The GP comes to your home (when transport is medically irresponsible)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you dealing with a life-threatening situation? Press ‘1’ on your phone. You will then be helped with priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does the General Practitioner need to know about you?<\/strong>
The triage nurse asks, among other things, about:
\u2022 Your date of birth, name, zip code and house number
\u2022 Your phone number
\u2022 The name of your GP
\u2022 Your health insurance number
\u2022 Description of your complaint(s)
\u2022 Your medical history (major conditions and allergies)
\u2022 Your medication use<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes it is necessary for a healthcare provider to be able to view your medical data. This is only possible if you have given permission for this.
