Then call the central number <a href=\"http:\/\/088-00 30 600\">088-00 30 600<\/a> of GP Emergency Stations Amsterdam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We offer emergency care to patients who are registered with a general practitioner in the Amsterdam, Badhoevedorp, Lijnden, Diemen, Duivendrecht and Landsmeer region. Patients who are not registered, but are in this region and need emergency care, can also contact us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you abroad? Please contact the 24\/7 control room of SOS International via the number <a href=\"http:\/\/+31 02 651 5151\">+31 02 651 5151<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is emergency?<\/strong><br>Urgent complaints are complaints that cannot wait until the next working day from your own GP. For example, increasing shortness of breath, paralysis symptoms, severe pain, a seriously ill child or an accident in the house. Or if you are so worried that you need medical advice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You call and then?<\/strong><br>You will have a well-trained and experienced triage nurse on the line. Preferably, the patient calls himself. Are you calling for someone else? Then make sure you have all patient data at hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depending on your situation:<br>\u2022 You will receive medical advice by telephone<br>\u2022 You will get an appointment at the General Practitioner<br>\u2022 The GP comes to your home (when transport is medically irresponsible)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you dealing with a life-threatening situation? Press &#8216;1&#8217; on your phone. You will then be helped with priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What does the General Practitioner need to know about you?<\/strong><br>The triage nurse asks, among other things, about:<br>\u2022 Your date of birth, name, zip code and house number<br>\u2022 Your phone number<br>\u2022 The name of your GP<br>\u2022 Your health insurance number<br>\u2022 Description of your complaint(s)<br>\u2022 Your medical history (major conditions and allergies)<br>\u2022 Your medication use<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes it is necessary for a healthcare provider to be able to view your medical data.
